Where is South Fork? Where is South Fork, Colorado? South Fork is close to Creede (21 miles), Pagosa Springs (47 miles), Wolf Creek Ski Area (17 miles), and Durango (99 miles). Foothills Lodge and Cabins is located in the heart of South Fork tucked away in a quiet, off highway, cozy spot. Directions to Foothills Lodge and Cabins From the West (Durango to South Fork) - From Durango go east on Highway 160. Follow Highway 160 east through Pagosa Springs and over Wolf Creek Pass. South Fork is located on the east side of Wolf Creek Pass. Once you enter South Fork, make a left turn onto Silverthread Lane which is located right by the South Fork Visitor Information Center. Look for the large Foothills Lodge sign. From the East (Alamosa) - From Alamosa, go west on Highway 160 Follow Highway 160 west into South Fork. Once you enter South Fork, look for Highway 149. Just past Highway 149, turn right on Silver Thread Lane near the South Fork Visitor Information Center. Look for the large Foothills Lodge sign. From the North - Coming into South Fork from the north on Highway 149, you will dead end into Highway 160. Turn right at Highway 160 and go one block to Silverthread Lane. Turn right at Silverthread Lane near the Visitor Information Center. Look for the large Foothills Lodge sign. From the South - If you are coming up any routes from the south that feed into Highway 160, once you get on to Highway 160, follow instructions above (from the west or from the east) depending upon whether you are coming in from east or west of South Fork.

Not all internet mapping systems have correct directions as our street is one block in length and traffic was rerouted several years ago. The best way to find us if you get lost is to find the South Fork Visitors Center and then look for a large lighted sign that says "Lodge." |
