Pet Cabins - Most pet cabins have wood or washable floors. We
thoroughly clean between guest stays. Pet rooms are
as fresh & clean as non pet rooms. We clean carpets in pet
rooms with allergenic soap on a regular schedule.
"Limited pet" cabins may not have washable floors are limited
for pets that are extraordinarily well behaved.
Reservations
PETS - We welcome well behaved pets in our "pet friendly" cabins with signed pet policy.
Making Reservations - Our reservation line is answered from 9:00am-9:00 pm most of the year. If we do not answer, please leave a message and we will return your telephone call promptly. Our office is normally staffed, but there are times when we are busy making reservations or attending to guest needs and cannot answer every call. Often you will reach us faster by email. If you do not reach us by phone, leave a phone message then email us at folodge@qwest.net so we will get your message as quickly as possible. A 50% deposit is due at the time of making your reservation which is fully refundable if you need to cancel providing you do so before your cancellation date. The balance is due at check in.
Special Needs - If you have special needs, please let us know when making your reservations and we will do what we can to accommodate you so you will have a pleasant stay with us.
Check In & Check Out Times - Our check in time window is 2:00 PM-6:00 PM. We ask you to advise us within 30 minutes of your expected arrival time. If you need to change your arrival time, you can call us toll free 800 510-3897 to let us know or leave us a message. If you find you will be early or late please call us as soon as you know you will be arriving at a different time so we can make arrangements for you. There are many times when all staff is not at the office and working on different parts of the lodge. We want to be sure we are on site and that we have your cabin ready for you when you arrive. Check out time is 10:00 AM. If you need to check out later than 10:00 AM, please ask us if we are able to accommodate your request.
Extended Stays & Corporate Rates
Extended stay rates are available for travelers staying 10 nights or longer. Monthly rates are occasionally available during value season and shoulder seasons in Foothills' Lodge Style Cabins and in selected Log Cabins with weekly housekeeping available. Corporate rates are also available for our frequent business travelers. To set up your extended stay or corporate rate, please call Foothills Lodge and Cabins and ask for Karen or email folodge@qwest.net with your request and contact information.
Reservation Confirmations
Email or Fax Confirmations - A deposit of 50% is required at the time of making reservations. The balance of your stay is payable when you check in with us on arrival. Our reservation confirmations are sent out by email or fax.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy - The last day to cancel or change your reservation is 30 days prior to your arrival date most of the year. During ski season, holidays, peak season, and special events cancellation is 45 days prior to arrival date. If you cancel within your cancellation period, you will be given a cancellation number and your deposit will be refunded to you. No refunds will be issued for late cancellations. Reservations for two or more rooms and stays longer than 7 days are subject to longer cancellation periods. All guests are given a cancellation date at the time of reserving their stay and in their confirmation letter. No refund will be given for late cancellation, late arrival, or early departure. Guests are responsible for ALL nights as reserved and we ask you only reserve only those nights you know you will need.
Because all of our cabins are different we often turn away guests due to existing reservations. Our cancellation policy allows us to plan staffing, provide customer service, and still keep our rates low. We accept reservations a year in advance due to our high level of return guests. Reserve early, but only reserve nights you need. If you need a shorter cancellation period, we suggest you book at a large motel that is able to absorb later cancellations and would be happy to recommend one to you. Minimum stays are included in our cancellation policy and no exceptions are made. Refunds are not given due to weather or other situations beyond our control. Please do not ask us to make exceptions to our cancellation policy. We are a small unique place to stay and cannot absorb late cancellations. Every reservation we take is advised of our cancellation policy.
Group Reservations - Group reservations are subject to different cancellation periods. For two or more cabins reserved, an additional 15 days is added to the cancellation period up to a maximum of 90 days. A deposit of 50% is due at the time of making reservations with balance due on the cancellation date. Please call us for more information on group reservations.
We offer 100% NON Smoking Cabins
Smoking Policy - Sorry, we do not allow smoking inside lodge rooms and cabins. If you smoke, please ask us for an ashtray which we will be happy to supply for your use outdoors.
Pets
About Our Pet Accommodations for NON Pet Guests - If you are a "non pet" guest, please be assured ALL our accommodations are clean and fresh including our pet accommodations. Most of our pet rooms have wood or washable floors and all linens are completely stripped out after a pet stay, floors are washed, and our pet rooms are as fresh and clean as our non pet rooms. We shampoo carpets with allergenic cleaner on a regular basis to assure our accommodations are clean and fresh for all guests. The only concern a guest should have if booking a pet room would be pet allergies. If you have allergies, please let us know when you reserve so we make certain you are in a non pet cabin.
Pets - Due to popular request, we now offer 7 pet friendly accommodations that allow friendly, well behaved pets. Pets are permitted in Lodge #3, Antelope Cabin, Elk Cabin and Fox Bungalow Cabin. Pets are accepted on limited basis in Lodge Style Cabins 4 & 5 and Deer Cabin. If your pet is extremely well trained and behaved, we welcome pets in Deer Cabin for those wishing a more upscale stay and in Lodge Style Cabins 4 & 5 for larger groups. We regret we cannot accept a pet in a non pet cabin for the safety and comfort of our guests with pet allergies. Pet fee is $7 per pet per day OR a flat fee of $50, whichever is less for your stay. The pet fee helps us keep our pet cabins clean and fresh for all guests.
