Making Reservations
Wolf Creek Lodging and Reservation Service - Foothills Lodge and Cabins is a participating member of www.WolfCreekLodging.com. Members of WolfCreekLodging.com are committed to helping our guests find suitable lodging while visiting the South Fork CO, Wolf Creek CO, and Creede CO areas. We want you to have a memorable vacation while spending time in our area and hope you will become one of the many families that make visiting our area a tradition for life.
Making Reservations - Our reservation line is answered from 10am to Noon and 2pm-9pm OR reserve online! At times we are busy making reservations, attending to guest needs, or clearing snow, and cannot answer every call. If we do not answer your call, you may make your reservation online, email us, or leave a phone message so we will get your message as quickly as possible.
Lodge Cabin, Lodge Room, or Log Cabin? - Please check the description of our accommodations above to make sure you book what you need. "Lodge Cabins" are 4-5 per building. Each Lodge Style Cabin offers a living room with kitchen/dining area, and separate bedroom(s) representing an excellent lodging value. "Log Cabins" are stand alone log cabins with a larger living room & kitchen/dining area than Lodge Style Cabins with the same size bedrooms. A "Lodge Style Cabin" is a fully equipped cabin with 4 or 5 in one log structure (like a log four-plex); each one private and outfitted like a cabin. "Log Cabins" are STAND ALONE and also completely equipped. Our "Lodge Room" is comparable to a motel room, NO KITCHEN (a basic room with bathroom as you would find in many motels except unique in decor). If you are not sure what you need, please ask us. We are unable to make changes at check in time due to our high occupancy. Our goal is to have our guests comfortable with their lodging choice. To do that, we need your help.
Special Needs - If you have special needs, please let us know when making your reservations and we will do what we can to accommodate you so you will have a pleasant stay with us.
Check In & Check Out Times - Our check in time is 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, however, we are able to make special arrangements to accommodate late arrivals. We ask you keep us updated as to your arrival time so we have your cabin ready when you arrive. If your arrival time is going to change, please advise us as soon as possible so we will be ready for you on arrival. You may call us toll free 800 510-3897 to let us know there is a change in your arrival time. If we do not answer, please leave a message with your new arrival time. There are many times when staff is not at the office. We want to be sure we are ready for you and on site when you arrive. Check out time is 10:00 AM. If you need to check out later than 10:00 AM, let us know and we will try to accommodate your needs if we can.
Extended Stays, Corporate Rates & Hunting Season
Extended stay rates are available during hunting season and other select times. Please call us for extended stay or corporate availability.
Reservation Confirmations
Email or Fax Confirmations - A deposit of 50% is required at the time of making reservations. If you are staying only one night, the entire balance is due as a deposit. The balance of your stay is payable at check in. Our reservation confirmations are sent out by email or fax. You are responsible for every night you reserve! If you book days you are not planning to stay, you will be charged for them.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy - The last day to cancel or change your reservation is 30 days prior to your arrival date most of the year. During Christmas and Spring Break or special events, cancellation is 45 days prior to arrival date. Timely cancellations will receive a cancellation number and your deposit will be refunded to you less a $25 processing fee. Reservations for 2 or more rooms and stays longer than 7 days are subject to longer cancellation periods. All guests are given a cancellation date at the time of reserving their stay and also within their confirmation letter. No refund is given for late cancellation, late arrival, or early departure. Guests are responsible for ALL nights reserved, so be certain to reserve only those nights you will need.
Late Cancellations - After your cancellation date has passed your deposit will be refunded in full less a $25 processing fee ONLY if the cabin is re-rented for the entire time frame of your original reservation (as you originally booked it, including minimum stay requirements).
Because all of our cabins are different and we are a smaller family run property, we often turn away guests due to existing reservations. Our cancellation policy allows us to plan staffing, provide customer service and keep our rates low. We accept reservations a year in advance due to our high level of return guests. Reserve early, but only reserve nights you need. If you need a shorter cancellation period, we suggest you book at a large motel better able to absorb later cancellations and we are happy to recommend one to you. Minimum stays are included in our cancellation policy and no exceptions are made. Refunds are not given due to weather or other personal situations beyond our control.
Group Reservations - Group reservations are subject to different cancellation periods. When more than 1 cabin is reserved by related parties (parties coming up to stay at the same time, not only cabins reserved and guaranteed by one party), an additional 15 days is added to the cancellation date up to a maximum of 90 days. A deposit of 50% is due at the time of making reservations with balance due on the cancellation date. Please call us for more information on group reservations.
We offer 100% NON Smoking Cabins
Smoking Policy - Sorry, we do not allow smoking inside lodge rooms and cabins. If you smoke, please do so outdoors. Guests will be asked to sign a non smoking policy at check in and will be responsible for clean up and damages should smoking occur within your accommodation. Our accommodations are absolutely non smoking and we guarantee this to our guests.
Pets are welcome in "pet friendly" designated cabins only! Other cabins are designated "allergy free"
Pet Friendly Cabins - Most pet cabins have wood or washable floors. We thoroughly clean between guest stays. Pet accommodations are as fresh and as clean as non pet rooms. We clean carpets in pet rooms on a regular schedule. "Limited pet" cabins may not have washable floors and should only be reserved if your pet is extraordinary well behaved and well trained. Pets MUST be on a leash while on property at all times (sorry, no exceptions). Please do not leave your pet alone and unattended in your cabin without notifying the innkeeper or staff first.
About Our Pet Accommodations for NON Pet Guests - If you are a "non pet" guest, please be assured ALL our accommodations are clean and fresh including our pet accommodations. Most of our pet rooms have wood or washable floors and all linens are completely stripped out after a pet stay, floors are washed, and our pet rooms are as fresh and clean as our non pet rooms. We shampoo carpets on a regular basis to assure our accommodations are clean and fresh for all guests. The only concern a guest should have if booking a pet room would be pet allergies. If you have allergies, please let us know when you reserve, so we make certain you are in a non pet cabin.
Due to popular request, we now offer 8 pet friendly accommodations that allow friendly, well behaved pets. Elk and Alpine cabins offer a pet fence. Pets are permitted in Lodge #3, Antelope Cabin, Elk Cabin & Fox Bungalow Cabin. If your pet is extremely well trained and behaved, we will accept pets on a limited basis in Lodge Style Cabins 4 & 5, Deer Cabin & Alpine Cabin. We regret we cannot accept a pet in a non pet cabin for the safety and comfort of our guests with pet allergies. Pet fee is $5 per pet per day. The pet fee helps us keep our pet cabins clean and fresh for all guests. Please note guests are responsible for any damage that may be caused by their pets and we ask for a signed pet policy and credit card guarantee at check in.
